We have a Winery established in the Kalecik region of Central Anatolian part of Turkey where is famous of its special kind of Kalecik Karasi grapes.
We produce red wines from grapes that are grown in our own vineyard.
Kalecik Karasi is the best-quality Central Anatolian grape for making red wine. This rare grape was on the brink of extinction due to negligence for many years, but is grown only in Ankara's Kalecik township. And it can be grown here under the microclimatic conditions of the region thanks to the Kizilirmak (Red River). Kalecik Karasi has taken its deserved place in winemaking thanks to the research and improvement of Turkish and French experts from Ankara University's Agriculture Faculty.
Kalecik Karasi grapes are famous with its unique taste, aroma and flavor. This unique quality is honoured with several awards won in International Wine Contests, and has attracted the interest of Turkish wine lovers as the most popular and rare domestic wine in recent years.
The Kalecik Karasi grape of Central Anatolia which was on the brink of extinction due to the negligence of long years, has taken its deserved place in viticulture thanks to the long term efforts of Turkish and French experts and Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture.
This special prestige wine has the color of a ruby stone, it is rich, well-balanced, and has a lasting and charming aroma of red fruit, vanillin, and cocoa.
It has a light, fresh, and elegant finish. It can be aged for another six years in the bottle.
The alcohol ratio of wine is between 12 - 14%, and the acidity range is 4-7 grams/liter.
It is best when served at 16-18 degrees. It is a good match with any kind of red meat, aged cheese, and especially chateaubriand.
We produce 200.000 liters/month, where we can double this capacity if needed.
We supply in 75 cl, 1 lt bottles and 5 liters of nylon packaging.
